A Message from Father Bilot
Dear Divine Child Family,
Pope Francis and the Archbishop of Detroit, Allen Vigneron, are challenging each of us to pray and bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.
The new evangelization calls for personal involvement on the part of each of the baptized. Every Christian is challenged, here and now, to be actively engaged in evangelization.
The Pope’s vision is one of a missionary Church, whose “doors should always be open.” In order for our vision to thrive, we are being requested to respond to the Good News entrusted to us. Our Catholic schools are the foundation for the evangelization of the Catholic faith and each one of us is being asked to participate.
Divine Child is committed to providing the finest academic, athletic, and performing arts facilities for our students, teachers and coaches. The Investing in Excellence campaign is your opportunity to ensure that Divine Child Catholic Schools continue to be a visible presence in the community. Please read through the following pages to familiarize yourself with how we intend to accomplish this goal. In order to facilitate the process, I have asked Randy Doran, a blessing to the Divine Child family and Dearborn community, to assume the role of the Capital Campaign Executive Chair. Randy has in turn reached out to other Dearborn and parish leadership for their active support and involvement.
It is with great pleasure that I announce this initiative and I ask for your consideration in assisting in this urgent campaign with your own volunteer time and financial support.
